General Mills, Inc. is an American Fortune 500 corporation, primarily concerned with food products. The company markets many well-known brands, such as Betty Crocker, Yoplait, Colombo, Totinos, Jeno's etc. Its branded retail products include: big G cereals, such as cheerios, fiber one and total snacks, including Yoplait yogurt, Chex Mix and more. Its products are manufactured in 15 countries and available in more than 100. General Mills operates 70 production facilities (down from 79 in 2008, the closures were a cost-controlling measure) -- 44 in the US, 11 in the Asia Pacific region, three in Canada, seven in Europe, four in Latin America and Mexico, and one in South Africa.
